2. Appodium on your device
Imported media and projects
Screenshots, images, screen recordings, videos, voice recordings, backgrounds, projects, and presets are processed and stored only on your device. Appodium does not upload this content to its own servers or an Appodium cloud.
Export
Only when you start an export does Appodium save or share the finished file to a destination you choose, such as Photos, Files, or another app selected through the iOS share sheet. That destination's privacy policy applies to its processing. Appodium automatically removes temporary export files afterwards.
Permissions
Appodium may request access to Photos, Files, and the microphone. Access is used only for the features you choose: importing media, saving results, and recording voiceover. You can change permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
Local settings
Settings, presets, project information, onboarding status, and the daily free export allowance are stored locally on your device.
3. Purchases and RevenueCat
Appodium offers a one-time in-app purchase for unlimited exports. Apple processes payments; we do not receive complete payment details such as card or bank information.
We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) to manage and restore purchase status. No Appodium account is created, and we do not send your name or email address. RevenueCat does, however, generate a random pseudonymous App User ID and may process technical information (such as device type and operating system), usage timestamps, and transaction information (such as the Apple receipt and purchase status). This data is used only to process, unlock, and restore purchases.
For users in the EEA, the legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for performing the purchase contract and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for reliable entitlement management. RevenueCat processes data in the United States and uses the safeguards it provides for international transfers.
More information: RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Local media content is not sent to RevenueCat.

5. Contact by email

For users in the EEA, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual requests, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data when it is no longer needed for the request and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Your rights
Where provided by applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
